Main Technical Specifications
Suitable ambient temperature range and altitude for BAM-type capacitor installation and operation are
-25°C ~ +50°C and ≤ 1,000 m, respectively. For capacitors to be installed at places with an altitude of higher
than 1000, special order specifications are required.
The dielectric between the electrodes of a capacitor should be able to withstand one of the following two
test voltages for 10s.
a.Power frequency AC voltage: Ut (~)=2.15Un
b. DC voltage: Ut (-)=4.3Un

  • Safety-Centric Features: Three-phase models rated at 6kV and 10kV include discharge resistors for rapid and safe energy discharge, minimizing operational risks.

Key Specifications

  • Environmental Adaptability: Operates within a temperature range of -25℃ to +50℃ and at altitudes ≤ 1,000m. Special specifications are available for installations above 1,000m.
  • Voltage Withstand Capacity: Can endure a power frequency AC test voltage of 2.15 times the rated voltage or a DC test voltage of 4.3 times the rated voltage, both for 10 seconds.
  • Capacitance & Loss Performance: Maintains a capacitance tolerance of -5% to +10% relative to the rated value, with a loss tangent value (tgδ) of ≤ 0.0005 at 20℃ under rated power frequency voltage.
